No Video [Solved]

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 1.8

No Video [Solved]

Postby mmesantos1 » Wed May 21, 2008 12:03 pm

I have an issue when playing video from the Web or DVD disc I get audio but no video. I have not seen this issue in the forum but I hope someone can help me fix this problem. I did not have this issue with Ultimate Edition 1.7. Everything else seems to being working well. I have Compiz running fine and also running AWN with no problems. Only a slight performance issue but all of these issue I had with Linux Mint 5.0 Beta. The video and performance issue seems to related with Ubuntu 8.04. Iinstalled my video driver with EnvyNG with no problems.

Yes,
I installed all required plugins and codecs. I am at a loss to what is causing the problem. Never had this issue with Ultimate Edition 1.7 or any other fork of Ubuntu until 8.04 LTS. I even checked docs for Ubuntu to get Video for DVD and web to work. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
