Wow! That list blows me away! I would have thought there would be a lot more Aussies here considering how many people I know running Ultimate Edition. Happy to translate into Australian should anyone need it. ;)

Well now ;) When I was in the military the Aussie women love Americans (for their accent) and will pay you to date them (imagine that), thus I hear & many stories of sailors walking off pier side with 2 of them, I missed Australia by 2 weeks. Correct me if I am wrong... Cab may ding in anytime, I left him there to bask in the glory. Did my time & got out honorably.

I did not want to post the other reason, there are others that read this forum & will not post such openly. Why do I do that? Because I am a gentlemen as well ;) Before I die I will see Australia, imagine this I like their accent. Of all the countries I have seen (many), I wanted nothing more then to see theirs. I refused to sign up for 4 more years in the military to see it. Simple as that. A miracle of the times for me to accept 2 years, and they pushed it too far. During time of war none the less. I don't know how much you know about military, but I got out RE2a, re-enlistment code 2a. Look it up. Employers are "not supposed to look at this". I was willing to do 2 more years just to see it.

I often said if something was to happen and I had to leave the country You'd find me in Australia. Perth or Hobart,Tasmania . I had a LOT of fun and I'll leave it at that.

I liked Freemantle, had a small town feel but was close enough to Perth to almost be a suburb.
I found the topless beaches to be a plus too.
It was like stepping back into the 50's with the conveniences of today.
