3.5 Better Most IMOP

Postby chris47 » Sun Sep 14, 2014 5:08 pm

I have been playing around with Ultimate Edition for some time now.. Even though, I still do not have a clue how to fix, most issues, I have been able to do some with the help of folks here.. In the past when 3.5.2 came out, I had issue that use to frustrate me to no end. With that said I went back to my Win7 OS and played around with other distro's as well.. Recently I have re-installed 3.5.2 along side 4.2. I personally like 3.5.2 better than 4.2 and most of the other Ultimate Edition that came before it.. This is not to say, that I do not appreciate all the hard work, and countless hrs, that Thee had put into making all the others.. I have read, and had issues my self with getting some of the other DE environments to work in the past. What I did this time was switched my window decorator to compiz, and now the ones that would not work like Gnome, Cinnamon and Mate work without issues.. I personally like Gnome, but from time to time, try out the others as well.. Plus this is the most featured pack OS I have ever installed on my machine, and now use it exclusively over windows.. Plus, after I was able to install most of the updates minus the full upgrade to 14.04 this machine as been rock solid, of course, that doesn't mean I might not encounter issues in the future. Again thanks Thee and the other out there for all you time and effort, in making this a enjoyable experience and great OS all around.. <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW>
