Recommended Partition Size

I've a 2TB hard drive no dual boot. Entire disk for Ultimate Edition.

I'm installing the UE-3.5.2 and am wondering the recommended partition sizes.
In the past I simply split the hard drive giving 1Tb to / (root) and 2Gb to swap and the remaining to /home which is 998Gb

I've noticed that my root partition stays rather empty as my /home slowly fills up.

That being said can someone recomend partition sizes for the following.

Total 2TB for the following partition
/
/home
I'll keep Swap at 2Gb.
Asus Rampage III Black Edition
Intel i7 Extreem X990
Corsair Dominator GT 12 GB RAM
LSI MEGARaid Controller 9271
2 Samsung 840 Pro SSD (RAID0)
ATI Radeon HD 6990
SoundBlaster X-FI Platinum Pro
Corsair 1200W Power Supply
Corsair Water Cooled CPU
Ultimate Edition 3.5.2 (LTS) / Windows 7 Ultimate

With 12GB RAM, you aren't really going to be dependant on Swap so you can stick with the 2 Gb but I generally use 5 "just cause" Heavy users with lots of memory really are going to make space when they are running that low anyways, but you're on the right track...
So personally I would go

Swap-5

Now for / , Ultimate Edition is heavy and you may want to add more, this is a 2 TB drive so why not

/-25

/home-rest

This is how I set up my 1.5 TB and haven't had any issues, actually this might be the one I started using Linux on.

And now, the completely true facts, as told by an anonymous man hiding behind a screen name:

Packard Bell Pack Mate II 286 Intel 80286 1MB RAM
