can't boot Ultimate Edition 3.4.2 x64

Postby billy20 » Wed Nov 13, 2013 8:43 am

Can't seem to get Ultimate Edition 3.4.2 x64 to boot, live cd loads with no problems and installs with no errors.
when I go to boot, grub is mix in with the Ultimate Edition splash screen and is very hard to see, it doesn't go any further then that, also my caps lock light starts blinking.
I'm trying to install it to my external esata drive which I had installed Ultimate Edition 3.4 x64 with no problems.

ok I have managed to fix it by following this thread. do not check the to boxes when installing.

viewtopic.php?f=117&t=9494#p79329

Then I installed the ati drivers from the additional drivers and now it boots to a black screen. any suggestions?

Thanks
