3.5.2 Question

Well installed 3.5.2 against my better judgement. A few issues. 1) when you open up application launcher in KDE sometimes it freezes and you can't do anything. To fix I have to do a reboot.. 2) When entering GNOME I don't not have a task bar on top, so I can't do anything there as well. 3) When you first boot pc, and enter Ultimate Edition it says 3.5.1 when infact I did a clean install of 3.5.2 any thoughts.
