Closing program errors out! [SOLVED]

Postby BBOSAK2143 » Sat Oct 20, 2012 10:26 pm

Haven't seen a topic like this one so am wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same. When I go to check out settings here an there with Ubuntu Tweak or other things then decide to close it on my own, I get the crash message. Is a crazy little thing that says the program closed unexpectedly? Is not the case here, hey when I close something it is expected, not unexpected! Actually have noticed less on the Ubuntu Tweak but a lot of other internal settings seem to be doing this and is just kind of strange! Doesn't seem to hurt anything, but is just on the bizarre side. Then again, all these Gnome and KDE programs working side by side flawlessly is even more bizarre!!! Quite sweet since to me neither Gnome or KDE has everything, but when combined they sure can conquer an unbelievable amount of tasks!!! Sure enjoy the competition between Gnome and KDE since us users are sure the winners!!!! Just wondering if I am causing the above error with my desktop theme or if it is just a normal thing is all. Would appreciate some other users feedback to see if I am to blame. As always enjoy this OS the most as it give the best response and performance have ever seen since I started using computers!!!! Will also say when I used Windoze things were always closing unexpectedly and had many unexpected reboots!!!! None of that here! In the 2 months I haven't even seen a single crash when using Excel in Vbox either! Talk about developers that bust their behinds to make their OS the best, that is a prime example!!!!!!! Once again thanks is great to use a real OS instead of one that thinks it is!!!!!

Thanks very very much! Yes those messages were a little annoying! Will be awesome not to see them again. Is really great to have someone as yourself that is so knowledgeable to help, really appreciate it! I barely have 7 months into Linux, but as have said Ultimate Edition has made me a firm believer. People like yourself that have helped me are incredibly intelligent! I never received anywhere near this support with Windoze, which once again proves which OS houses the real intelligent people!!! Thanks bigtime!!!
