HDMI Audio being used instead of Analog out

Postby Zaileion » Sat Sep 29, 2012 11:38 am

Whenever I try to start the game "Sacred Gold" the sound doesn’t work, so I did a little Google university and found that I need to install Pulse audio. I did, and if I make a few changes I think if I turn off the HDMI audio output and click a few other buttons and maybe make some changes in the sound settings from within the system settings page it works after a reboot, but later or after another reboot it doesn’t work again. It seems that my video card HDMI audio is taking president over the analog audio output whenever I try to use the game.

Other games, and music to work fine, but the system sounds don’t work correctly, but yet other times they do.

Weird.

I know the post is a bit confusing and lacks proper detail; I must apologize as I have no further details to provide.
