My main point was that they are only installable via sourceforge download and not being technically minded I have difficulty getting them up and running. Once they are running it's no problem .For non-techies like me installing certain third-party software can end up just giving us a headache particularly if the mods don't know the applications.
Sorry guys I wasn't trying to give anyone else a headache.
I haven't tried U.E.3.0 yet as I am waiting for a DVD from linuxcd.org to arrive in the post. If anyone else doesn't trust their internet connection to download iso's without interruption, Linuxcd.org is the place to go. While I waiting I am playing around with Israel Remix Team's revamp of Ubuntu Multimedia.Admin-Amir & the gang have done a great job with it so that's two new distros for me to play with. All this excitement-just don't know if I can cope!

I really was just kidding, I was in a giddy mood that night, lol. (Read:tipsy <BREW> )

I'm a bit of a Linux newbie, although I have installed and used many other Linux OS's including Fedora 14, 15, 16 Mint 12, Debian, Ubuntu, knopix. This one is pretty cool. That being said, could Admin Amir or someone please post exactly what I need to do to get my desktop looking exactly like the screen shots taken in the Ultimate Edition 3.0 forum post? With the black narrow bottom task bar, the top task bar with the power button moved and the icons resized and the top task bar black and with the really cool sidebar app on the right and the so on and so fourth. That would be really, really helpful.

Also, I know that it can be frustrating to hear people complain about bugs, especially after such hard work compiling this build. Might I make a recommendation to start a forum thread specifically for mewbies who don't have the skill to actually fix anything, but who do want to help, to report bugs. You can have a rule about no complaining or running of the mouth, but simply read through and make sure you're not re-posting a bug, and simply state the bug and how to reproduce it. What do you think? Maybe that would help to quicken an update? Thanks for all the hard work!

In terms of what is too much to add I kind of fall into the more is better camp (and so voted) so long as it is good stuff. One thing that could get lost is a little program called Curso Selection in the System/ Preferences menu. So far as I know this thing has never worked and still (UE3.0) doesn't. While you're at it finding an easy, dependable way to change cursor themes would be a great thing--yea I like some eye candy but this isn't a big ticket issue. The hang up seems to lie in Compiz not Ultimate Edition itself. If I am out of my bounds here I apologise.

Right-click on the desktop, select change background. Then select theme, customize, pointer and pick the one you want. I`m running my fave Azenis arrow.

Small point guys, the first install screen after setting the partition and owner details; the first line says "Welcome to Ultimate Edition 2.6".
Maybe this could be changed to say "Welcome to Ultimate Edition 3.0".
Just a suggestion...

knowing him he probably does since Faye is crush. But I think he will he is the type to keep his word and not backstab anyone.
Le presento la botica online en cual es posible adquirir Tadacip de Cipla con Mastercard seguro. A veces algunos hombres suelen comprar Cialis masticable barato con descuentos.

I may step over my bounds here, none the less I am going to say it. I hated ever tolerating what 3.0 would be, the natty was not the issue, the interface was and tons of introduced bugs, guess who has to attempt to smash them? I am a champ and typically step up to the plate, this was beyond my control. I have been writing software to put 90% in check, but is incomplete. They have 50 programmers or better I am one. The software I am attempting to write will wipe all 50 of their programmers out. At this point not perfect. I will probably be dead tomorrow ;)

Lets open the Pandora's box. I am wholeheartedly sure they know who I am. I have chit chatted with their now CEO, CFO at the time. Instead of banging heads with me should have hired me. They assumed my work of Ultamatix to being construed with that of Automatix. I really wish there was a way to take back the way I was approached. Years have dawned and time has surpassed.

I am really sorry for the way things have taken a bad turn for them. I can not take back the past, I would take off my shirt for them prior, sorry.

I reuse my code, actually repomaster takes care of like I said 90%. To answer your question. I want you to think as I do outside of the box. I have been programming for 30 years will be this year, I have seen others software in the paste as a newbie copy and paste, then analyse. The key word is analyse, make it better. Straight up, that program does analytical & file permission processing as I have done and uses a 6 core cpu to do so, 12 etc does not matter.

Does your jpg that you included in your deb need execution rights? This is what plagues the windows world & one of the reasons we live w/o worrying about anti-virus. As the stage turns we will, I want to be there to put a stop, not because John has a virus and packaged his file and set 755 permission on it. Tip of the iceburg, what it already does.
