if the links are to Linux sites, not businesses link away. For instance I might link to an article on Slashdot or a useful tip on Ubuntumanual.org. Business links like the one in your (now deleted) signature? Those are not permitted.

no selling or peddling
no linking to topics not pertaining to Linux or Ultimate Edition if the intent is to sale or peddle

Links to Linux or Ultimate Edition based content (free) allowed
Links to personal web sites that do not sale or peddle but tell us about you as a person is allowed

For those of you who would like to add a "hyperlink" to your signature to link to your personal website, Flickr page, or any similar place, here is a quick guide to help you do so.

The first place you will have to go is to the "User CP" in the upper left corner of your DPS Screen, and then clicking on "Edit Signature" which is on the left hand side under "Settings & Options"
