Yet to ever fully tap the power of just 1 hexa core .

AMD's 12 core bulldozer shall be out soon.

Wonder if Ultimate Edition will have kernel support for the bulldozer?

Your Ultimate Edition 2.8 and 2.9 is perfection on AMD Athlon II x2 2.8 ghz to 3.2 ghz line.

Fast, very efficient. Clients just love it, simple $350.00 build and Ultimate Edition rocks it.

Windows 7 , not so much lol. Need a $600.00 build to do windows 7 justice.

Very impressive theemahn .

Ever since we swapped out to Ultimate Edition as our main offered os. Build cost has dropped $300.00 passed fully on to the customers.

Trouble calls are down a massive 98.7%

No slow downs ever

Not one infection reported ever.

That theemahn is what your work does for the average person .

I have a job to do. $24 bucks and could have a solid 2 processors (actually quad core) machine. I am happier with cores. I could have walked for $24 dual opterons scsi based board. Ram on the board is split. 4 slots per processor, watts are the same. I woke him up.

What few problem calls I see are self caused .

People will always dig them selfs into a deep hole at some point lol.

I have noticed vbox 4.0 and 4.02 have a clear USB bug with Ultimate Edition. No clue why, but vbox 3.2.12 works flawless.

Could just be a vbox thing?

1 more thing

Can not seem to get ATI cat 10.12 to install into Ultimate Edition 2.9 right.

Works good on Ultimate Edition 2.8

But the drivers fail to initialize at all in Ultimate Edition 2.9

Any ideas ?

Yes, I intend to smash. I suppose I should complain. A job are you ok? Once I pump up your fault?

Which system BTW?

System #1 is no joke.

Here is what it does, watching it install in terminal.

All looks to install fine, I see no errors.

But once I restart , ccc will not launch and all 3d effects are off.

Running Ati first time run command works fine in terminal, but yields nothing.

Replacing the xorg files yields nothing.

Ati drivers installed via synaptic work, but dual screen isn't as good as it is with 10.12.

I hope that helps.

All attempts to re enable eye candy fail

System is my dual 5870,s listed in sig.

If there was a error message , I would have a better idea of what needs to happen.

But there just isn't one, looks to install flawless.

Odd lol
