Question about FTP

I use Ultimate Edition 1.4 and my unibersity can log the FTP which not allow IPs from outside, but that FTP can't be logged when using ubuntu 7.04 or 7.10. Could anybody tell me which file affect that and how to fix that in ubuntu 7.10? Thank you very much!

No, I used firefox. In Ubuntu 7.10 or 7.04, It shouwed: This IP wasn't allowed. But in Ultimate Edition 1.4, there isn't any problem to load it.

Perhaps due to an update in firefox, there have been several filed, give gftp a try and get back with me.
