Hey friends, im think and think and view -
http://youtu.be/LX2DswngBsE

Its beautifull Gnome classic or 2, for me the dead gnome 2 is bad notice, i thinking in return to 2.6 Ultimate Edition LTS based to save this desktop environment.

I try the new mate version of Ultimate Edition and the diference is obvious but is not gnome.

What the Ultimate Edition team project to new releases - maintain mate version and LXDE? or other Gnome-shell or else other window manager...

Please say your ideas. Many thanks. Im lost in middle of unitys, cinnamon,gnome-shell, Enlightenment, Razor-Qt ... What is the possible path to the new possible releases of Ultimate Edition.
I feel this project!

It is def a shame the direction Gnome has went to. Unity LOL i wont even comment on that. But you can pretty much alter it to your needs via dconf editor, along with advanced shell settings, if you are up to it. With that said, I have been leaning towards Cairo-Dock as a default desktop. The Oneric Theme is worth customizing and can look pretty nice when complete. Plus you can select it as a default desktop prior to logon...
