One more issue with install-aspx files in Firefox

Postby Klaatu2 » Tue Dec 20, 2011 9:26 am

Haven't had this problem with either Linux or Windows before. I try to log in to my financial institution website and keep getting one of these messages: Password.aspx, what do you wish to do? Save or open and with what program. If I save and tell it to treat all .aspx files the same and/or with Firefox, I get tabs opened ad infinitum. If I save it, I have to save it multiple times and never get past the password login. Anyone seen this? Thanks.

Er, which settings exactly? I tried the applications preferences in FF but to no avail. Is there something else?

I found some info on the user agent switcher online. Installed it as a FF add on and that solved the problem. Thanks to all of you.
