Crashing?

Postby WitchyWays » Mon Dec 19, 2011 12:59 pm

 It's happened a few times now to me;not a major issue but. All right the screen just, like someone tuning on a light behind the panel and overpowering screen and I'm left with grey screen. ctrl/alt enter no use. I have to hold power button in a force shutdown and reboot. I have ASUS board with onboard graphics ATI 4200. I'm thinking it has to do with my graphics, I run Linux driver not the ATI linux driver. I figure it out hopefully but for now how do I enable system monitor to record crashes and get report to see what's happening before I change setup?

I have that, it's a memory caching issue, just wait a moment and it comes back

Thanks Guys, I was wondering what was up. Hey as far as testing I went into benchmarking and generated a report, I also found some stuff at system monitor. I have a further :?: Is there an app/program like a system health report (besides what I generated) that scans system for problems, conflicts and the like? Another thing, I'm running my system board controlled (bios) not PNP OS. I'm thinking maybe I should change that. Any thoughts? WitchyWays out
