How similar is Ultimate Edition 2.2 to Ubuntu 9.04?

Been told Ultimate Edition 2.2 is based on Ubuntu 9.04...so how useful will instructional books on Ubuntu 9.04 be for beginner to learn this OS? I'm thinking of buying 'Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Handbook', 'Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Guide', & 'Beginning Ubuntu Linux' (4th edition).

picking the hard way to learn it.

suggest you use the forums and learn 1000 times more then you could out of a book and have more fun doing it.

Once you master ubuntu, Ultimate Edition is a walk in the park.

Ultimate Edition 2.2 will just have more added , thus allowing it to be a more complete package deal.

Saving you time and a lot of headache.

Truth be told, linux is soooooooooo much easier to learn then windows. Takes far less time time to learn how to use Ultimate Edition then windows 7.

How do I know this ?

I use Ultimate Edition for my business, if 40 50 60 70 80 90 year olds say it was easy way to learn, then it was easy to learn.

Get it installed and spend time customizing it to fit your needs, advanced stuff can come little by little later.
