Need advice tweaking Ultimate Edition 2.6 after just intalled

Hi guys. Im new to this forum.

I just installed Ultimate Edition 2.6.1 and its nice. Grats to you, devs.
However, I find it hard to navigate through menus and explanation etc because of the dark theme in background. I tried replacing theme and some fonts got more visible but not all.
Can I do more and have a light color instead?

I also need advice how to install Nvidia drivers. Is it ok to go with System -> Administration -> Hardware drivers?
I want to install best drivers for 3d games....

Yea, the theme can be a little dark, I am away from my Linux box, so this is from memory. Go to Preferences/Appearance and pick a light theme to start with. On the first access of Appearance, it will take a moment to load the previews.

I have an NVIDIA card, and had to load the third party driver, there was an icon in the upper right of the menu bar, but I can't remember, hopefully someone will respond to you before I get back to my linux box.
