Honestly, my advice is.

Loose board/ram/cpu

Drop in a 2011 AM3 with 4250 HD $60.00

athlon II x2 255 3.2 Ghz $70.00

4 GB DDR 3 Gskill $40.00

$150.00 call it a day

You will need to activate the proprietary ATI drivers , replace the control file with the one from 11.2 then install cat 11.2 to get the on board GPU fully working.
