Upgrade question

Postby Dragynbane » Fri Feb 25, 2011 11:28 am

Is there a script to upgrade Ultimate Edition versions? like 2.8 to 2.9 when 2.9 is released? I'd really appreciate it if there was a way to Upgrade without having to reinstall Ultimate Edition, as I like to always have the latest version of anything.

Not really, generally in Ultimate Edition you need to reinstall. The main difference between 2.8 and 2.9 is themes, and the fact that 2.9 has additional GUIs

thanks for the reply. kinda bummed that there isn't a way of upgrading without doing a clean install, but I guess that's a small price to pay for awesomeness.
