Is Ultimate Edition 2.6 a Long Term Support edition?
I ask this because Ultimate Edition 2.6 is based on Ubuntu 10.04, which is a LTS edition. I do not know anything about Ultimate Edition but it really seems to be a good distro.

You are correct. Ultimate Edition 2.6 is based on Lucid Lynx 10.04 which is a LTS release. What this means is that the core of the system (Ubuntu) will be supported for quite some time. Ultimate Edition has the same, however we're a friendlier bunch here and better looking - So if you need help at any time, just sing out.
