2.4 x64 Gamers or 2.5 x64?

The Ultimate Guide for the rest of us

2.4 x64 Gamers or 2.5 x64?

Postby Mupo » Sun Apr 18, 2010 9:35 pm

Hellow!
I feel kinda silly for posting this, but I have used Ultimate Edition before (1.7 - 2.1, and I loved each newer one more than the previous! <BREW> ) but I have never installed any of the Gamers editions of Ultimate.
I would just like a comparison of what 2.4 Gamers has that 2.5 doesn't have, and vice-versa. I have an ok internet connection, but not fast enough for me to download each and test for myself, nor the space needed. (I have enough space for one at a time) I haven't used Ultimate since 2.1, and it looks like I have a bit of catching up to do.

Thanks for your time! :D

Is that Ultimatix? That's awesome! Thanks for the screenys! Also, loving your mouse pointer. What theme has that, or does it come standard with 2.5? I remember 2.1's pointer looked epic too, specially compared to windows :D.

With all the custom stuff they come with I just can't get enough Icons so I got to gnome-look.org and install them.
Your gonna love that site and it's pretty easy to install.
