problems setting up jackd and rakarrak

I am new to linux and i am having a few problems . I have installed rakarrak version 0.3.0 and jackd on Ultimate Edition 2.3 my computer is a ibm r61 so i am sure the hardware is up to it .The problem is that when i try to start the jack server it wont run .
From the jack message terminal i get this :

If anybody has come across this and has come across the solution i would be grateful for any advice THANKS............. :? :? :? :? :? :?
