Can someone explain whats the main difference between those OS and what they are mainly used as.

The main difference is the desktop they use
Ubuntu uses Gnome
Kubuntu uses KDE
Xubuntu uses Xfce
Each has it's own special look and feel

Of course each GDM (General Desktop Manager) likes to use it's own apps
so there is a difference in the apps they each use as well.
1st Box: Ultimate Edition 2.0 x64/ 1.8 x64
2nd Box: XP (dusty)
3rd Box: Stable Media box Ultimate Edition 1.8 x64 with XBMC
