Ultimate Edition Forum

So not to take a shot at any of the dev/mod/admin team but my repository issue still remains unsolved so i continued digging and i realize that the Ultimate Edition repository on the main page is outdated. Of course i didn't review every last package just looked at a few, (gimp, wireshark, conky) and they are all older versions. Im also curious as to the meta packages there like "ultimate-edition-2.8" which upon inspection contains all packages installed with 2.8 according to description which i believe is causing my issue with removing such packages as lintian which removes meta ultimate-edition-2.7. Also wonder why the actual repo there is not added to Ultimate Edition sources by default but i guess thats more a suggestion forum thing. But my question is to the repo site as it seems to be in need of some TLC. Could a admin shed some light on the subject cause i hate posting like this when it could just be me barking up the wrong tree here.

To my knowledge Thee has not updated them for some time. I could be wrong not sure maybe someone else knows more.

Hey thanks for reply. Now do you mean he has not updated the repository or just that particular one from main page? Also, im not looking to point any fingers here so i would ask, how do we fix this?

To be honest i want to say both. To fix it.. well next time I talk to Thee I'll see what needs to be done.
