Do you have multiple drives? Whats your specs? I hope it has nothing to do with this
bug report I did a little googleing for you and ended up seeing that you are very good at hitting up all the forums for a little help
Thats good. Kinda looks like you might need to repair GRUB or you have some faulty drive/hardware causing you the headache. If its GRUB, then I would suggest
SuperGRUB for simplicity. If your brave you can
edit it by hand.
