i am using 1.6 and tried to find a topic to tell me what is new in 1.7 not in 1.6 so if any one can help

Too much cool stuff to list! built in GDM splash maker, upsplash maker and all kinds of good stuff! Its a must. Plus all the upgrades built in. Two versions will be available, Gnome only and a Gnome + KDE version ... what else could one possibly ask for? Have fun!

A really cool piece of software that TheeMahn wrote, that enables you to take a photo/picture/Artwork and turn it into the boot screen when you boot your OS. The GDM maker one is the same thing but used for log-in.
