Well some new screenshots, I stripped gnome from my system and did install of KDE just so I could see how involved that was. ;)

THanks guys. :)

Actually it was not too hard. dropped out of GUI and did the sudo apt-get autoremove for gnome and other gnome related apps that were not pulled. Then did apt-cache search KDE and pulled kubuntu-desktop I believe that was the name and installed. Then after booting in to KDE GUI went to synaptic and added other apps that I wanted. Thats is the quick and dirty answer. :D


Also almost forgot I removed compiz and used plasma for KDE.
