cowboy great shots. i see that your user switching applet (this with ur name kinda by the clock) is actually showing right. has it always been like that? if not how did you fix it? i just get a white box there. if i click on it it works but it looks out of place to have a big white box there in the middle of all that black.

No I hve to move it everytime I reboot, as far as the white I get black and that is when I am only in metaciy, and not in Compiz Window Manager. In propertys click treat as a widget that may help you.

Are you guys talking about the user switcher? I don't even run one - why bother? cntrl+alt+backspace is just as quick. I am thinking along the path of cowboys statement on what decorator your using and what Icon set / theme your using. I remember it changed with the themes/icons.

yea daddy. where ur name and the goofy looking orange lightning bolt looking thing is at the top. right there its all white. where the orange thing and my name is. im using the default theme. i will try cowboy's idea when i get back to the house though.

Here is my avatar with dragon fond on the web eliminated the background. User switcher...the little pixel in the upper left corner...nah panel is hidden, lol.
