Ultimate Edition based on Debian. YES PLEASE! Aren't Ubuntu and Mint based on Debian? The reason I would like to see this happen is for non commercial reasons and the invasive measures by Ubuntu and Mint with Zeitgeist and data sent to 3rd parties to cease. I am a HUGE FAN of OPEN SOURCE. At present I am assisting a Bougainville Community and some people as well in Papua New Guinea with computing. The Bougainville Community do not have the services we take for granted such as Electricity and modern technology. A small group of us are putting together a power supply system and we have collected around 20 computers which I have installed EDUBUNTU on them for the school. After learning about Zeitgeist it made me question if that is a good idea. I am not in the league of OS building but if there is SOMEONE out there who can BUILD an DEBIAN BASED x86_x64 or multiarch Ultimate Edition educational DVD PLEASE help :geek: required. Anyone who has this capability your generosity is needed to help the children of this remote community. Their Internet services are non existent so any updates or upgrades would have to be done via a DVD/USB by the teacher. The PNG and Bougainville communities are being sold Microsoft second hand laptops etc. that are quite often corrupt versions or so infected with Malware or suffer other OS issues that make them difficult to resolve with the lack of technology knowledge on their behalf. The stable and secure LINUX OS is required. For around a decade now I have been assisting and converting these people from the commercial OS to LINUX. The response has been very positive in many ways and the OS and Malware problems have vanished resulting in only a few problems over a very long time. The Linux systems have been easily accepted and have become the preferred OS. DEBIAN has always been my preferred base LINUX OS and have experimented with many other flavors. The main purpose of assisting these communities is to give the children the same learning opportunities and world participation in the future. It is a big ask to design an OS like this but if it can be done then perhaps it could be developed if it is not already to grow to meet the needs of children in other countries too. Now I am looking at how TMOSB works and am in the process of trying to apply it to the cause. Suggestions, ideas, guidance and selfless assistance is appreciated. Thank you in advance. MAD4AMD
