Well I installed "mono" and then when I tried to install Creative Memories I got a message saying my CPU does not support this program. I guess I have gone as far as I can with this.
Thanks anyway for your time and assistance.

This software should run on my computer as it requires32 or 64 with 800MHz. I meet all the requirements except I don't have Windows XP or Vista. As I said before I tried installing .NET 3.5 and it wouldn't install, so I installed "mono" and still can't install it. If I installed a vbox I would still need a Windows system to install in the vbox. That is just defeating the purpose of using a linux system. I know the .NET 3.5 is still in the experimental stage so I guess I'll just have to wait it out.
Thanks again for your interest.

1000 times disagree on that one.

Your looking at this ALL WRONG.

We use linux so it runs faster - leaner - smoother - looks better - suffers no viruses - free - no maleware my god the list goes on.

We use windows for one reason - proprietary software powered by the worlds monopoly.

ya it sucks but it is what it is.

Logic dictates that best of both worlds in Linux for most and windows for the rare cases.

You need to stop thinking you can have your cake and eat it to with out the weight gain or other side effects.

KUZ YOU CANT lol.

Honestly bud, it is the reason we have vm ware.

I stand corrected, you are quite right, my problem is I don't have a powerful enough computer to install vbox and a windows OS, plus I am on a limited pension and don't want to fork out the money for an OS I am only going to use for one program. If there was a way to install Creative Memories into the vbox without having to install windows 7, I sure would like to know how to do it.
But you are right, one shouldn't limit one's self to linux only, if there is a need for something else and you have the means to get it, by all means use it.
Any way I am getting off topic here and apologize to all.
I want to thank everyone for their input but think I am stuck until .NET 3.5 gets the bugs out.
