A classier Logo for Ultimate Edition

No idea if I can write this here if not sorry,

Do not get me wrong, the Ultimate Edition distro is great and fun but the BIG logo is really hideous to me. Dark is nice but, and this is my humble opinion, i miss some style, class and peace in the logo. It's to upfront and confronting some disturbing.

Well, having said that ... keep up the great job you do! ;)

Welcome my friend ! :D You see, Probably the best part of Ultimate Edition is it's versatility, You can change and modify it , Tweak it and basically beat the hell out of it !, Till it looks nothing like the original ! You can open gimp and the logo (or anything else) and modify, change, tweak and beat to harts content ! And have a look around the site in wallpapers themes and logos, There is a lot of great art work there, Maybe find something you like better and use that, Or, The best part, Come up with your own style and share with us! :D we love to see new art ! :D And , Welcome aboard!

Hello Eljo.

We here at the Ultimate Edition board are always open to constructive suggestions/ New designs as JOHNNYG said. Ultimate Edition Logo may not be the best logo in the Linux community but its surely not "hideous" excuse me if i am wrong. Everybody/team/distribution have there own logo/flavor/liking. We are original & will not copy someone else logo just to make ours look good. Not saying that you said that, but i disagree with you on your thoughts about the Ultimate Edition logo. Not cowing you down are saying that you shouldn't voice your opinions, but as they always say "not ever body will like you" the same goes for Ultimate Edition Logo. Tell you what, make us a logo/design and we will look at it & maybe incorporate it in our system here

Peace & best regards
DarkChild

The logo doesnt really look that good ><. In my opinion, the logo needs to be reworked.. maybe something more darker and with a motto would do nice
