Open a terminal:
- Code: Select all
glxgears
Let it run 20 secs and post your results
Mine:
19679 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3935.798 FPS
19363 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3872.496 FPS
19543 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3908.534 FPS
19573 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3914.252 FPS
Nvidia 7600 GT 256MB X 2 (SLI AA mode)
Asus A8N SLI32 Deluxe (32X SLI)
Edit: 04/22/08
I have recently upgraded mainboard / processor ram (quad crossfire)
Check this out a the same NVidia 7600gt as a single card is faster then 2 on the newboard:
28254 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5650.478 FPS
27562 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5512.086 FPS
33824 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6764.415 FPS
31969 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6393.436 FPS
I dumped that card and bought 2 ATI 1650's 512 each eventually will be four of them (linux performance is & will remain at half the speed of the card I removed (ATI sucks for support in linux, no crossfire). I guess I will get over it, bought them to play games (which I typically do in windows, if / when I have time).
Results of 2 ATI 1650's (on current board as sig shows):
12995 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2598.874 FPS
12533 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2506.508 FPS
13073 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2614.259 FPS
13206 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2641.125 FPS
I hate ATI is my opinion. Funny the cards I bought are $4 cheaper then a NVidia 7600gt and it over doubles their speed as a single card. Just my 2 cents...
