Postby kf4bzt » Fri Dec 04, 2009 9:33 am

Hi all,
Long time no speak. I have busy with school try to finally get my degree in IT security :D . I will taking some java programming classes while pursueing my degree and was wondering if their is a place in the distro for someone learning java? Also I am using netbeans as my IDE because that is what the school requires. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to learn the basic so that I can contribute to UU as well?

Thanks,
Tim

Thanks JohnnyG.

I am looking forward to learning this so that I can contribute to this distro. I heard that Java is easier that some other languages to learn. Where would Java come into play in a distro like this? I'm trying to get an idea of where to concentrate.

Not too sure where your Java skills would come into play but i can tell you that you would be an asset to the development of Ultimate Edition os/forums as all of us here are in one way or another!! Good luck with your studies ;)
