Things seem really quiet around here

Was wondering when we might see one of the next exciting releases?

Anyone have a schedule of upcoming events?

Mr. Breeg & I have discussed completly skipping 3.1 (I will attempt a build this eve), he called it a dead dog. That does not mean I have not been chewing on new technology & learning as I go along.

3.2 already exists, just no artwork at time of posting... Cowboy, JohnnyG?


No rest for the wicked Ultimate Edition 3.1 artwork, however does exist. I have already written plymouth etc. for it. I wish I could break down how many issues I have fixed in Gnome 3.2.1, I guess you eventually will know. The looks will 100% change, however I want you to understand what you see. I installed today, so yes work is proceeding forward. I have fell behind & intend to bring things forward even if I have to skip 3.1. I apologise to KDE fans alike. Do not mark 3.1 off yet.

I'm shocked!! I saw Johnnyg's screen shots and couldn't believe I was looking at a Unity desktop...

What's happened? I thought we were all for staying without Unity.

I know Ultimate Edition OZ has it but, I can't get it to run properly on my machine so suspect there may be problems again if we see it as a download off the main Ultimate Edition distro.

Please don't switch to Unity as the desktop, I don't think I could take it

Where can I grab a copy of 3.2 Thee? Been itching to try it out 'n see what the install is like. I installed 3.0 once but, reverted back to 2.6. 3.0 jus t didn't cut it for me. My personal opinion I know. You will do what is right for the system in the end.
