Ultimate Edition Forum

It runs like a bat, looks beautiful with Ultimate Edition Slickness theme chosen, it even put up my old wallpaper from 2.6.3 LTS! Wifi identified and enabled and it`s got FOUR MONITORS in the taskbar! Software? It has it all, even my fave photo editor Picasa! Of course with Ultimate Player, (created by our resident genius), you`re covered completely on tunes. No bugs here on a two-year-old Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop, it`s idling at 16% processor load WITH CHROMIUM OPEN, WTF??? Man, I could not be happier! Well done, no extraordinarily done, sir!!! UPDATE AFTER TWO WEEKS OF USING: I was wrong. If if everything worked then it would be this great. As it is, no. It`s buggy and unfinished.

Well, at least one person got it up and running besides me! Good for you!

UPDATE: One whole day playing with it, and I love it even more. 2.6.3 LTS used to ask for my password to enable wifi, like every other distro. This one does it automatically! This is the first distro that I haven`t had to install nada, it`s literally all here. It even kept my documents from 2.6.3, wtf? Thee Mahn having his own profile in it for Compiz is just the icing on the cake. You know what? This is MY distro. MINE. I`m just letting you people borrow it, okay? (One little secret, I named my system "Karen". It just seemed right.) No more distro-hopping, in fact, probably no more UEs. 30 means "End" in journalism lingo, and I think I`ve found a good place to stay.

Gotta agree with you, man. This distro is the cat's a$$!! Everything works beautifully. None of the Unity/Gnome 3 crap! Great Xmas gift I can finally chuck my Windoze 7. Thanks TheeMann!
