I started using Linux last September (yup, a total noob here :D ) and I've been distro-hunting ever since. I tried many distros and found them not to my taste, and the distro I used longest was Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. I only learnt about Ultimate Edition from distrowatch the other day, took one look at screen shot and I fell in love. It just seems... RIGHT.
Right now I'm downloading UE2.6.3 (it says 1% downloaded :D ) because I'm afraid my Lenovo netbook, with its limited resources, could not handle the new 3.2 version (Currently it is using Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric). Time will tell if Ultimate Edition is the best distro for me but my gut feeling tells me that I'm making the right decision to use it.
