I really don't know what's going on here, though I think it could possibly be traced back to an update. I still can't get Ultimate Player working, ( deleted Songbird completely )and having finally found a way of downloading Clementine, I find it refuses to install on Ultimate Edition because it doesn't like the dependencies that need to be installed with it. So , could it be a program I have installed from the web uses dependencies that conflict with the others?
Anyway, I have decided to wait for U.E.3.0 and see if Ultimate Player is included with it.
I'm sure it's a local problem as I have an external hard-drive I use for test-driving other distros and I have recently installed Bohdi Linux on it. Bohdi is a great example of what can be done with the enlightenment desktop, though it only comes with Midori and Clawsmail by default. Downloading via Symantic is easy though and I was able to download Clementine this way .Still haven't managed to get it synced to my MP3 player yet but I am working on it. :)
All that I am or seem is but a dream within a dream.

HEh there TheeMahn......Im running Onyx 64 and Ultimate Edition 2.6.3 and Ultimate player does sync with my Sansa Clip+ on both systems..... i can delete and add songs, albums, folders

In Onyx 64 Ultimate player gets buggy ...... when screen saver comes on sound goes all metalic sound and outa speed . Also gets a freeze happening where you cant change between playlists or lick on anything..............
Now i have been running Ultimate Edition 2.6.3 for a couple of weeks i tend t think that it is a NATTY bug
BUT
I just had the freeze happen on playlists on 2.6.3

All i have to do is close Ultimate Player and restart it..........
