Sorry, must of mis-read...thought you was advocating for the 890chip board. It was one on the large list I already nixed. I'd appreciate knowing why you think the GA-770TA-UD3 is the best of the seven.

Yes, the GA-770TA-UD3 was the favorite, but I fail to see any reason given as to why it was chosen over the others, so I cannot look into the reasoning behind it. I've no problem with opinion, but would prefer something a bit more substantial, and I don't consider that trolling!

Because it is really easy to overclock your CPU on that mobo. Also because the AMD 770 + SB710 Chipsets are very nice.

I don't think there was any suggestion of trolling, however I can't really see how the provided input was of no use to you. My personal opinion is all of it is a waste of time, people suck with computers and there will always be plenty of used options available instead of creating a demand for more hardware on the market that is usually more gimmick than anything that is actually required for day to day use.

And now, the completely true facts, as told by an anonymous man hiding behind a screen name:

+1 ryanvade.
+1 Xanayoshi.

It has ddr3, the other ones have ddr2 also it has 8 sata ports.....if i remember correctly.
Most people wont use a 770 chipset board, unless you are using it for server/legacy build etc or are on a very tight budget(money is invalid because 770 is replaced by the 970 series).

The 770 is old and in no way is a preffered choice. We are missing something here.Your message is not quite getting through---A 770 board is hard to find in retail. A person buying from retail will Not buy a 770 board because low end 880G/970 are their official replacement. If you do get one--chances are (100%) they will be More expensive than a 970 chipset and that's because the retailer will take you for a ride and has the freedom to overcharge(A sealed box with warranty) you for ignorance...that there are cheaper and better products which they cannot overcharge and are accounted for in the Motherboard's company audit.

Not sure if this answers your question.
