There are many other manufacturers(different brands) out there using similar controllers..
Pinnacle in my opinion has the best linux support for as long as i can remember. Actually its philips chips they use, and they provide mature
linux support..
Very goods apps for linux too..Ultimate Edition 3.5 has most!
Still most manufacturers make it point to write software support on the box, if linux is written, it HAS to work.
