enabling/installing broadband dlink modem dwm 156 in UE3.4

uninstall usb_modeswitch completely.
once removed............plug in your dlink dwm 156 broadband wireless modem dongle........
NOW
open terminal----ctrl+alt+t
type the following:
once mounted .......goto places on ur desktop or open nautilus.......you will see cdrom mounted there...click it.
a file "dlinkusbmodem.deb" is present.
double click it.
software centre will open up and then install it.
once installed................exit soft centre..............open terminal or press alt+f2 to run...........
type:-->
wait few seconds and network manager will pop up the wireless modem/ or click it .........
insert 3G/2G sim card in your dongle to check ur connection....mount device if u remove it and then run "usbdeviceswitchdlink".
NOTE: THE DEVICE MUST BE MOUNTED EVERYTIME YOU DISCONNECT IT FROM YOUR USB PORT FOR IT TO WORK!!. Then run the command "usbdeviceswitchdlink"......... every time you switch on your computer.....a hassle free process........

mount /dev/srX /media/cdrom
