Is it possible I need to use ndiswrapper and not install it through Ubuntu's windows wireless drivers? What I did was install it with windows wireless drivers and then tried installing it again with ndiswrapper at which point it told me that I already had the driver installed.

How do I find the right kernel/Linux firmware? Do just upgrade? Is it trial and error? Thanks for the advise.

That or try other distro,s via live

Start at the top, try my pct destined . State of the art, if it works.

Ultimate Edition 3.2 will work, based on the same base.

Then go to pct destined classic, if it works, Ultimate Edition 3.0 will work. Etc.

Just try them live, no need to install in this case.

That's what I would do my self.

I have it downloaded but haven't mounted to anything yet. Is this a flavor of Ubuntu?

It works works with PCT.Desined in Widows Vista using VirtualBox. Am not sure if it would work with a standard install.
