Wireless projectors

Postby billn53 » Fri Oct 28, 2011 7:13 pm

I use my laptop for doing quite a few presentations at my work. I use my laptop because the company owned machines are all Windows units and are not real up to date if you know what I mean. The concern I have is that many of the projectors that are in use are wireless projectors that use a program called liteshow III. Unfortunately, the Infocus projector people do not support Linux. Connecting to the projector isn't the problem, but projecting the desktop to the projector is the issue. Also, connecting the projector using a VGA cable is also out of the question because the projectors are now mounted to the ceiling! If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears! Bill N.

seems like I was asked about this not very long ago.

Cant put my finger on where. But we were looking into it.

Sadly, turned up a big fat nothing YET.

Still tempted to try vbox windows xp mode, like to see just how slow the playback would be and if it could be tweaked to work well.
