kinsington expert trackball

How do I get the kinsington expert trackball to use the top two buttons? right now they are not working at all, my bottom left and right are fine the left one does the click and the right does the copy paste thing, also the bezel ring as scroll up and down.

Sounds like something that will take a little studying. I've tried to get all mouse buttons working on just a regular Logitech mouse and there is problems with all the buttons. If you set it up to utilize some of the buttons to work as forward and back buttons in Firefox browser they won't work in Nautilus --- frustrating.

Just came a possible solution.
This software only works for USB devices.

Thanx leadfingers this works great i can configure my trackball to do just about anything copy, paste, open email, close programs, use it as a controller for multimedia, the list goes on.

Glad to hear it solved your mouse problems.

After a good testing, if you still think its the best solution for USB mouse configuration, you might put it in the "suggestions" catagory for the next release.

having not used it myself, It wouldn't make sense for me to suggest anything other than what the web site says about it.
