Sorry,I moved the topic but then I deleted too by mistake,so I made a new one now to continue the siviog's thread.Sorry again.Usually I stayed away of administration controls untill now. :oops:

Well thats inconvenient. :shock: Oh well. What I recommended was the Nvidia 9600Gt. I use this card and have ran XP, Vista, Linux, and Mac OSX. They all work great and the card is compatible with all. ;)

All the brands will do the same thing. Some may have a higher over clock but other then that they all are the same in my opinion. ;)

ok i went to MIcrocenter and got a Galaxy GeForce GTS 250 512mb for $99 bux - but now my ubuntu not starting right because of card it goes to a command line and some help error page.

got the video card working and updated with the correct drivers... OMG what a difference...
