Sata HD questions, comments, advise

Postby dathem » Sun Apr 05, 2009 11:25 am

Hello, I need, want to upgrade a computer with Ultimate Edition 2.0 to Ultimate Edition 2.1 or newer but need a bigger HD. Several local stores have Western Digital 500 gig sata drives for $99.00, one store also has Seagate 500 gig sata kit for $119.00 and a 1 Ter. gig kit for $129.00. (The kit is bascially the 2 cables, connectors) What I would like to know is which one should I buy, or which one would you buy? I plan to have several versions of Linux on that drive. Probably Ultimate Edition 2.1 or newer and 9.04 UBUNTU and possibly SABAYON 4, sorry I love Ultimate Edition but can't stop testing out the other guys...

Thanks for any help, suggestions or comments!
