WiFi on Ultimate Edition 5.4
Posted: Fri May 05, 2017 7:40 pmI have installed Ultimate Edition 5.4 on one of my computers. The problem is that I can't get the wireless, a TL-WN823N adapter, to connect to the internet. When I boot, I then click on Applications in the upper left hand corner of the desktop. Then I click on WiFi radar and a box opens that shows the adapter with three of the four bars green. So the adapter has been recognized, right. Then I click connect and the three green bars turns white and and at the bottom of the WiFi Radar windows is the message: Connected to [SSID]:Not IP Address none.
Under configure I set WiFi options as follows: Mode-Auto, Channel-Auto, Key-[entered my password], Security-restricted. So what have I not done, what do I need to do, or what have I done wrong. Thanks.
By the way, when I registered I selected Ultimate Edition 3.5 and my OS because it wouldn't allow me to select N/A and the 3.5 was the newest OS listed.
