weather widget in kde not working ?

hello i was using gnome classic and i had my local weather showing on the top panel,i have logged in on kde plasma and added a weather widget for Enfield and the widget is sitting on the desktop but has no information on it,any ideas on how to get it to work please ?

Check and see if your graphics driver is fully functional.

sorry but how do i do that in kde plasma?
i was looking to see if i could use additional drivers but cannot see that function any where.

Should have been able to engage screenshot through ksnapshot with Prt Scr. I was asking because your kde rc files may have write problems. It may just be KDE. There is definitely a steep learning curve and even steeper with the 3.5 setup although way more customisable than your average KDE distro. Really, it's probably more customisable than any distro.

I forgot all about the Window Manager. Metacity is running originally although this may have changed with your gnome classic settings. kwin really is your best bet if you are in kde session.

Don't get me wrong, my Gnome Classic is sweet, there's just not much I want to change, it's pretty much set up. That's also what I love about 2.6.6. I think I changed the wallpaper and window decorations and called it quits. Done. Why break it?


It should be noted however, that nothing may be wrong with the weather widget.
