hidden screen dim and sleep option?

Ok runing KDE with compiz and while I have turned the sleep and turn screen off after X min options in KDE power it is still turing the screen off... any clue where the other settings are hidden so i can set them like I need?

I get the same thing too. It may be a power setting on our moniters, or something else. I don't know.

Working on it. It's funny that you mention the sleep option for the monitor because, even though I think I shut it off by disconnecting the KDE power management completely, I forgot to take into account the shut-off feature that this Phillips POS TV/Monitor does in fact employ. This has come up before and the solution might be on the 3.5 threads, I believe it's a KDE problem by nature in that basically the power management settings tend to reset every time you start up.
