Yes I figured is a one time deal only having to enter -s. Thing is in the past when have tried to take command at certain points(building a file, rebooting) I issued the wrong command and was told, no dice! So yes am super grateful on knowing the right way now! I want to assemble my own programs someday, which is just another reason I love Linux! Always loved building stuff cars, models, you name it! I know Dolphin is part of the management system, but is strange and am not giving a line, that I didn't have both file managers working at the same time about a week ago. Now they are! Is kind of cool as both have different ways to do things! So actually is quite an asset! Yeah generally the main command with the Unix one I used was Kdesu dolphin. Figure Oracle should be fairly close, but main issue is finding what Office software they are using and do my best to learn it! A few places out here use it, so will be an asset after graduation! Even though I have to use all MS stuff for school(office software) I am doing my best to make the connection between Libre and MS! Have used KDE systems quite a bit and don't mind them at all! In fact a few of those OS's had great software which helped me to learn more things! Been to Linux Mint before! Too many reloads for that OS! Very surprising and annoying was the fact their premium desktop(Cinnamon) actually had issues! I say Premium since they did much boasting about it! So yes I ran into problems using in on Mint. When I used Sabayon it worked very well. Funny thing is they did not boast it! They just said it would work, which they were quite right! Only issue I ever had on Sabayon & Cinnamon was the temperature add on. Since add-ons get old and sometimes never updated, is the reason won't function anymore. Let's face it, Linux constantly changes and for the better. If you write a program for it, you will have to update it within a few months. Gnome 3 was having issues on there and for me was best to use Cinnamon most of the time. Was just a drag that the eventual cures for Gnome 3 in Sabayon wound up to be disabling a great percentage of the extensions. It left Gnome on the ugly side and not so functional! When I moved to Ultimate, I was so relieved to find most of those functions back and working to the utmost! The last of the functions came back with 3.5 with the Sheer taskbar! I know most would find this a small thing, to me is a real big thing! I absolutely love the look of it! As I have mentioned with College, leaves me on the computer many many hours. I am no genius and some things take me twice as long to learn! I am very very grateful people as yourself have helped me to the best of your ability! Without that I would be lost! Means a real lot to me and can't thank you enough! Gnome also had a real beautiful weather add on a few months back! That also went south. The icons and descriptions were so brilliant am really surprised the author would chose not to rework it! Alas is his/her choice and will just remember it as a great piece of work. One day I hope to write something as brilliant! Will keep trying here and there with Cinnamon also, love the novelty stuff! For now as will always say love my Gnome desktop as is nothing I would ever want to change on it! Looks perfect works the same and all responsible should be quite proud!!!!
