Hi,

open Synaptic and type "flash" in search and look down the list for "adobe-flashplugin", right click it and mark for re-installation and try again, you might want to also add the suggested and recommended packages!!.

hello im trying to install the flash plugins, when i hit unstall packages it does not do anything, any ideas on how i can install the plug in

Yes.

I'm assuming you have Ubuntu-Tweak.

Go to terminal

Code: Select all
sudo ubuntu-tweak


Go to application center, Adobe is the first package, mark it, and apply.

If you do not have ubuntu-tweak....

Go to terminal

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

Try opening firefox, tools, add ons, browse "all add ons", search flashaid ! install, restart firefox, you will be prompted on flash install ! :ugeek:
